Brianna Cooper

Parent Consultant

Brianna Cooper is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has worked with In STEPPS for the past seven years. As a Parent Consultant, Brianna empowers parents, giving them the tools they need to feel supported and prepared as they enter any challenging situation. Brianna also conducts developmental assessments for children under the age of three to determine if there are developmental delays requiring an intervention. Brianna earned her bachelor’s from California State University, Long Beach and her master’s in education, with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis, from Arizona State University.

If you could choose any one superpower, which would you choose?

I would be like Flash so I could simultaneously corral my daughter crawling everywhere and my many other responsibilities.

Before working at In STEPPS, what was the most unusual or interesting job you had?

I worked four years at My Gym as a children’s gymnastics instructor and a Mommy and Me instructor. I also led children’s themed birthday parties (and still make balloon animals!)

Who inspires you?

The parents I work with. They fiercely love their children and work hard with little sleep to make sure the children are successful. Since becoming a parent myself, I have gained new admiration for parents I work with. They are true super heroes.

Where’s your favorite place in the world?

Being in the middle of the forest, surrounded by trees.
