Kim Lerner

Case Manager

Kim Lerner, Case Manager, develops program goals for each client including goals for skill acquisition, behavior reduction, replacement behavior and parenting. Kim, who is certified as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) and Qualified Autism Services Practitioner-Supervisor (QASP-S), also conducts parent consultations that teach a variety of ABA strategies that are individualized to the child’s environment. Kim previously worked in a preschool environment, where she designed, implemented and documented age-appropriate lessons. She has been part of the In STEPPS team for the past two years. She received a bachelor’s in child development and psychology from San Diego State University and is now completing her master’s in applied behavior analysis.
